Horror Movies for Halloween

What obscure movies do you suggest other should rent or buy and watch for the Halloween weekend?

I go with Profondo Rosso by Dario Argento: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrurH-8rI-E

Very creepy and suspenseful.

Phenomena by Dario Argento: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Mk6EjlATp4

Jennifer Connelly's first movie, and trust me the ending to this movie is the best ending in any movie ever.

From Within: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7deZyB2kfE

Creepy and emotional horror movie.

Mothman Prophecies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jP4P7VPx2zM

Very cool movie with Richard Gere, based on true events. This one really creeped me out.

The Strangers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HMd59MaBWI

Best horror movie ever! Great and just pure entertainment.

None of these I would describe as being outright terrifying, but...

Hour of the Wolf

Eyes Without a Face

Cat People

I Walk with a Zombie

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Mulholland Dr.

The last one actually has moments where I could literally feel my heart beat. It's a confusing psychological thriller first and foremost, but there are some genuinely scary moments during its two and a half hours.

Mulholland Dr. is quite a disturbing film but it is beautiful. A nice Halloween film for those looking for depth with their scares.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is always fun!

Ohmigosh, that scene
at the diner in Mulholland Drive
is seriously one of the scariest scenes in a movie ever. :(

I've been watching horror movies since I was 5 but that scene was just too much for me as a kid.

It's too much for me now lol.

I remember when I was like 7, Demons came on (a good 80s, Italian, zombie movie) tv and my brother started to watch it. Now it's not like I couldn't handle any horror movies at all back then. I had seen a few like Carrie by then, but this one was just more graphic on some level than any of the other movies I'd seen before. I couldn't handle it and asked my mom to turn it off when my brother wouldn't. I remember literally feeling panicked at that time by that movie. Sheesh. I saw the whole movie a few years ago. Fortunately it was a lot less worse for me then.
