Midnight Eye Article: Japanese Cyberpunk

Postby d.yaro » Tue May 17, 2011 6:04 pm

Thought I'd share this somewhat longer article on Japanese cyberpunk films. I've seen two of the films mentioned in it: Akira and Tetsuo II: Body Hammer. The latter one is quite freakish and while I don't remember all of it (I saw it about a year after it came out in Japan) I still remember enough to say it left a vivid impression on me.

That article is really interesting, thanks for sharing it! Years ago I watched Tetsuo: The Iron Man and I have to say that it left quite the impression on me as well. Those images just stay with you forever.
