Song you have stuck in your head

Postby cow-boy_be-bop » Wed Dec 17, 2008 12:50 pm

The title says it all. What song is stuck i your head right now? I always have a song stuck in my head, and it always stays there for a while.

The past 4-5 days I have had Copacabana in my head.

I keep going around singing it and my mom is going to kill me for it lol.

Currently I've had Burning Soul by Matsumoto Rika stuck in my head. Plus some of the songs the kids sing in tonight's play.

For the past few days I kept mumbling to myself the lyrics from Je ne regrette rien by Edith Piaf. (I recently re-watched La vie en rose - this explains a lot). I just love the way she says "Je me fous de passe" (which basically means "I don't give a damn about the past"). I think she truly meant those words when she sang them.

Anna Tsuchiya's new song virgin cat. Which isn't really good because the song gets annoying after a bit.

Ever since I listened to it on the way home from school for the second time ever, I have "New World" by BACK-ON stuck in my head. It's sooo catchy.

It's a consistent state of being for me too. I ALWAYS have a song in my head. (Maybe in my heart? ) That makes it sound less...well... :?

Right now it's Viva La Vida by Coldplay. Such a beautiful song, in a tragic way.

This.

Uh, also the spoken word sections of Godspeed You! Black Emperor's Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada EP. (Finnegan is such an amusingly crazy character.) But for a piece of music to be considered a song it has to have singing, so...

I watched Hellboy II the other night again at my friend's house and I've had Barry Manilow's "Can't Smile Without You" stuck in my head ever since. Doesn't help I was half drunk and sung it with a friend (also at the other friends this night) when we saw HBII in theaters hehe.

I don't find it funny, either, and I am completely serious about it being in my head.

I have a weakness for cheesey 80s synth pop. (As everyone should!)

Right now, and not just thanks to my iPod, I have Our Solemn Hour -Within Temptation stuck in my head. Especially the chorus phrase: Sanctus Espiritus, redeem us from our solemn hour!

Alot of times, what I get stuck in my head all day is whatever I'm listening to when I park and shutoff my car after I get to work.

Today it was Float by Flogging Molly. It's a song I'm going to try and eventually devocalize for the "Karaoke" thread. But that's going to have to wait until I get my desktop PC fixed.

I kind of have an interesting story behind mine right now. Back when we were going up to Montana on the bus, someone who brought their laptop was playing all these songs from his iTunes, and when we came across this song we just couldn't stop laughing at how stupid this song was. And ever since for some reason everytime any mention of McDonnalds was made to me I was suddenly reminded of this song. Well after we went to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square in Salt Lake last night we went out to eat at McDonnalds and ever since then this song has been stuck in my head...... >.>

^ Oh. I had to stop before I got infected. Hopefully I bailed in time. Got out at the start of the second chorus.

Dekinai by OLIVIA has been stuck in my heard for a while. It's a great song though so I don't really mind.

I've had the same two Rush songs stuck in my head the past few days. Vital Signs and Witch Hunt.
