This is an interesting story. To me the important point is that the CEO of the company in question thinks most people will wait and see what changes will happen before acting on a move out of the USA. An admirable action, narrow in its scope though it may be. While I hold that the Canadian government should consider wider-scale actions to accommodate those who risk persecution south of the border, I imagine this would risk a souring of international relations. One wonders whether companies in 'safer' coastal US cities could consider something of this nature, if at all any leeway remains.
