She has a right to refuse service if she wants. She better be ready to give up her business license too. Disgusting.

If it's her store then she can do whatever she wants. She might want to bone up on local/state business law first it seems before throwing stones about doing something illegal. Now she goes from simply being a bigoted jerk to a stupid bigoted moronic jerk. She should put that on her business cards.

Hating gay people is just a fad. It'll go away.
Once we find the next fad, that is.

Re: Store Refuses to Sell Dress to Bride
How the fuck is selling a wedding dress to someone, supporting an illegal activity?
Suppose this happened in the last state ever to lift the ban on gay marriage (like Nebraska) and the owner happened to be someone who would sell a wedding dress to anyone willing to buy one, no questions asked. If you showed the bill of sale to anyone, no one is going to ask or give a fuck what the store owner did if the person buying the dress has a same sex partner, or decides to go on a killing spree while wearing a wedding dress.
Personally I think the customer probably heard that the store owner was homophobic and purposely bought the dress there to create drama and stir up things. That's totally their right. Business people who put a personal agenda above the basic principle of being in business to make money and support their business in a fair and balanced manner, don't need to be in business any longer.
