So let's see.... Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact will be facing off to see who will go on to the MLS Final. Pretty exciting stuff...but not so much for me. My team didn't even make the playoffs this year.

Over here, Montedio Yamagata looks like they'll avoid the horror of relegation to J3. But not by much of a margin. This season was terribly uninspiring...and so was the team's play. Their lack of offensive creativity just sucked the life out of their matches this year. I say they'll need to overhaul the roster and look for a new manager/coach this winter.

Oh yeah...football/soccer season in Japan runs from March to November. The Emperor's Cup matches carry on until the final on New Years Eve (or was it New Years Day?). There is plenty of snow in northern Japan during winters and none of the teams play in indoor stadiums.

That's why he was in the 4th division.

He took his eyes off the ball and kicked just as the ball hit a rut in the field and bounced upwards. So when his foot made contact, it was the top of his foot that contacted the ball.

Embarrassing, but I can think of others it has happened to before. :oops:
