Caps are so up and down it's crazy. Win a few, lose a few, win a few, lose a few.

I think we can look forward to the Canucks not having the services of John Tortorella behind the bench for a while... http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/canucks-coach-tortorella-confronts-flames-during-intermission-1.2502518

...and can someone please show PJ Stock how to dress properly?

Wow, the Canucks really suck this year. Well, maybe they don't suck (like the Oilers), but they are not a very good team

So the Sabres traded Miller and Ott for Halak eh? I'm not truly surprised but it certainly is an interesting development.

I wasn't expecting Luongo to be traded, but there you go. He gets to go home to his family.

Supposedly the straw which broke the camel's back was Tort's decision not to play him in the Heritage Classic game. That's a shame. Win a gold medal and get asked to ride the pine.

Personally I had been hoping the Canucks could get some good draft positions in exchange for Kesler. Nothing happening there though.

Canucks are officially out of the playoff race. Talk about a brutal season. Go Habs, Go!

I would like to see the Habs win but am torn in that I think it would be really good to see Alain Vignault get a Stanley Cup ring on his finger to show off to his former team.

LA looks almost unbeatable though.

Would be even more hilarious given they fired Torts this year already. And Alain really didn't make many changes at all between last year and this roster wise.

My co-worker Nick is from the Chicago area so I've been keeping him posted on the progress of the Blackhawks. As for the Habs...oh dear. I was saddened when they lost Price for the series but I'm glad they put up a good fight. As for the Rangers chances against either the Kings or Hawks...I can't say I know enough to put a wager on the situation. Yes, the irony of Vigneault winning a Cup after what Vancouver accomplished this year would be very...what can I say...poignant?

Well LA held out and won in OT setting up a NYR vs LA cup final. I think honestly LA has played better as a team but Lunvdquist will be a tough nut to crack. Overall I think over the past 3 years he's been the best goaltender in the NHL. I'm pulling for NYR myself. Don't really like either team but it would be nice if NYR won instead of another team that just won. Would be Chicago, LA, Chicago, and LA again if they win. Let's break it up a bit. Plus it's been a long time for the Rangers and I don't mind them as much now that Torts is gone.
