That's what I thought too. Thus my skepticism.

Never mentioned this but this is my new camera I got late last year. A Nikon Coolpix P530. I wanted something better than my small Canon Powershot for going to cons, vacations, etc. Day to day stuff my Galaxy S5 phone is good enough. But for bigger events or just cooler photo opportunities I wanted a better camera than what I had. Without breaking the bank. Got it on sale for $125 off.

That's a pretty good camera. A friend of mine has one. I would have bought one myself if it had a hotshoe.

My buddy's 70D. It's a nice camera and takes great pictures, but personally, I find it on the heavy side. If I were semi-pro, I would probably want one, but I keep coming to thinking the superzoom's are adequate for me. If I wanted extreme detail and will take my time framing a picture, I would probably use one of my old film cameras.

Saw this at a thriftstore auction. Opening bid was $ 60.

^ Frankly, I don't know what make or model of camera it is. Did you enter a bid for it?

I have too many old film cameras already. The minimum bid was $60. If I had money to burn, I might have bid $100 for it. But a real collector would probably bid much higher. It was a silent auction.

^ Another one you almost bid on? Or did you say "What the heck!" and purchase it?

Actually, it's a new one. It's my cousin's Fujifilm X100F. A digital camera.
