You know when you've picked up an obscure title when you find you're the second person to add a title to your manga list on MAL: http://myanimelist.net/manga.php?id=20448

I was introduced to the series Tonari no Seki-kun by one of the gals at Cafe LABORATORY. The title of the manga is a play on the phrase "Tonari no seki" - the next seat over. Supposedly it was up for a prize given out to short series of 5 volumes or less as selected by a survey or poll of bookstore employee. If you like Nichijo then this one will be right up your alley. It's very silly and something I might pick up in the future.
