I think I watched like 6 or 7 eps of Yosuga no Sora before I realized there was a over the top nude spot by the maid each ep :)

It might have altered my original comments I made about the show.

I have no objections to the ending, but, it tends to raise the level of overt sex scenes dramatically.

Watched the more recent ep, and hmm for him to just go on thrusting into the girl as his sister watched him was rather a statement indeed.

I'm still glad he has shown no interest in fucking his sister. And more or less glad he has resolved to make the one girl the only person he wants to have a relationship with. It was getting rapidly crazy. And the wild maid endings have not helped :)
Expert counsel, generous advice from friends, and my own knowledge has left me realizing, I am all that a man needs to be a man, and yet, I live half my day with a woman's frame of mind all the same.
I'd rather something in the way of more mundane troubles :)

Yeah, that was the moment I gave the show its nickname.

Once the Nao arc is finished the last arc is the Sora arc. So yeah...

So the powers that be have mused about disabling clubs and PMs on MAL: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=277221. If you read between the lines it sounds like it may be a temporary measure designed to reduce the lag time affecting list updates. But, who knows if the temporary measure could end up becoming a permanent one. The one thing I'm surprised about the thread is that the author didn't include a poll on the subject.

So... is anyone else able to get on MAL? For me it just shows a failure wiki page.

Just signed up for this and now wondering if I should of just used ANN's list feature [which I just remembered AFTER I got MAL to work :(]. The way they list things is confusing, and it looks like some people I know have abandoned it. Guess sticking to Notepad would of been better. And doesn't look like there's a delete profile option.

Oh, and for some wierd reason they've never listed Escaflowne Best Collection.

..............has no one else watched that?

edit- oh crud, should of researched this more 0_o Doesn't look like the best of sites.

Still shows the wiki page for me right now... Hm.

Edit: Okay, so it only seems to be the homepage that does this, which is where I saved my bookmark. Thankfully, Bonham linked me to his profile so I could get around it and now my profile is my bookmark.

"The fansub group pages mostly exist to review the quality of their work, something which people like you generally consider rude to do with official releases (in spite of their generally low quality)"

http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=286730

So I'm guessing I should probably stay away from their forums then. Also wow, did this guy never visit animeondvd? I like animeondvd, but R1 Anime DVD fans panic over the tiniest of details from time to time. It's not like they automatically worship whatever they're presented with*.

*well, I do like my Illumitoon dvd's. But in a Charlie Brown Christmas tree sort of way.

^ Personally I never got the energy up to tackle the MAL forums in the same fashion as I would tackle the forums on ANN. The only forum discussion threads I've bothered with are the ones related to a couple of the clubs I've joined.

All in all, my primary reasons for being on MAL are to maintain my anime and manga lists and check on the clubs I've joined. Interestingly enough I've touched base with a few MAL users who frequent last.fm. I can't say I've encountered anyone on last.fm who advertises their membership on ANN or any other anime forum.

Are we doing the voting the secondary way you suggested in the MAL thread? I liked that option best. Voting our top three (#1-3) within each category, that is.

ie.

Anime:
1.
2.
3.

Manga:
1.
2.
3.

Characters:
1.
2.
3.
