Word. I want Mononoke and Ghost Hound EVENTUALLY.

Though I am curious to see what a license of Rebuild brings -- perhaps FUNimation might eventually get the Renewal version of The End of Evangelion? Would be nice to have a DVD copy with a great picture and a few fixed subtitle lines.

Is there a confirmed "yes, these are the titles" list yet?

Nope. Just gotta slowly wait until the 22nd comes and the 31st passes.

So it looks like for day 1 they have licensed Ikki Tousen. Don't know anything about that show but according to the 2 posters so far in the thread that's not very impressive at all.......

I was between laughing and crying when I read this. From the trailer that I've seen and the review over on ANN, this show has a reputation for being Tenjho Tenge gone bad.

Oh, well. 9 more chances.

Isn't Ikki Tousen one of Psycho's favorite shows or at least favorite show to make avatars from?

^ If I'm not mistaken it was Richard's avatar gold mine. How could one forget the one of Sonsaku Hakufu adjusting her socks.

Yes. It's one of Sean's faves... Darn fanservice! >_<

Great Ikki freaking Tousen. I can't stand Hafuku and her fan service brigade.

Hey, IT is a guilty pleasure of mine...you just have to take it for what it is...a chance for guys to see girls kick ass and get their clothes ripped off at the same time.

Me being of the straight female species didn't really find that appealing so I tried to find the story buried under it and that's when I realized there wasn't one :(
Plus Maya and Aya Natsume would completely destory the Ikki Tousen girls.

True, there isn't much of a story...but to pop something in and just be a staring lump...it works for me sometimes.

And, yes, Maya and Aya could break those IT girls without even breaking a sweat.

If I wanted to watch a sexually-charged fanservice anime, I'll just rent Golden Boy. (Or re-watch THAT episode of Fumoffu.)

Well, nine more days left. Don't expect anything that I'd care for, unless it's a Bokurano license that can also lead to the manga being brought over by Dark Horse.

And the second one is Gad Gaurd.

I'm actually more excited about the 2 other shows that FUNi hasn't handed out clues for. It's a lot more suspenseful that these ones because they've already been guessed. :ugeek:

Yet another series I know nothing about, and also another ex-Geneon series rescued. Sounds to me like that's what their mostly focused on right now. But at least this one actually sounds like something I'd like, unlike the one they licensed yesterday......

So looks like they picked up yet another Geneon title today in Vandread. I know there were a lot of people who were hoping for this one but personally I'm kinda meh about it myself. Watched 4 episodes and couldn't really get into it. Although that was a long time ago so I don't know, whatever.

I'm glad Vandread has been picked up. I already have it myself, but it's a fun show to watch and I think that others would get a kick out of it.

I'm still looking forward to seeing what else shows up.

I liked it but I'm guessing tomorrow they announce Eva. Then I'll be officially happy ;)

I haven't really heard much of this Nabari no Ou, but at least it's a new license....
